identical). It is from a laptop bundle so it never had a box. This
DVD writer drive should work on any computer running Windows XP,
Windows Vista, or Windows 7. It should also work on any computer
running MAC OS X and higher. This DVD writer drive is powered via
one free USB 2.0 port. Note that it must be plugged directly into a
USB 2.0 port: It may not work properly if plugged into a USB 2.0
port via a USB hub or USB extension cable.
