ranging up to 40X writing, 12X rewriting, 40X reading. The SW-240
has high capacity buffer memory and reduces noise and vibration with
DVA(Dynamic Vibration Absorber). It supports variable packet (CD-R),
variable and fixed Packet (CD-RW) Read/Write.
This Samsung SW-240 CD-RW drive was pulled from a new E-Machine
T1480, however, this drive is used in several of the Emachine and
Gateway models that have drives with silver rounded bezels. Features
40x40x12 read/write/re-write speeds. Tested and works great.
