1 Music Button - Launches music

2 Power button - Turns power on or off for application or system

3 Pictures button - Launches pictures

4 TV/DVR button - Launches television

5 Print button - Sends picture to printer

6 Video button - Launches video clips

7 Close button - Closes applications

8 DVD/Menu button - Launches DVDs or DVD menus

9 OK button - Makes selection

10 Select button - Selects items to view or play in the InterVideo Home Theater software

11 Play or pause button - Plays or pauses the selection

12 Go to next chapter button - Moves to next chapter

13 Fast-forward button - Performs a fast forward

14 Channel button - Provides channel control

15 Record button - Records video

16 Toggle button - Switches arrow pad to mouse or arrow key control

17 Repeat button - Repeats video loop

18 Number keys 0-9 - Enable selection by number

19 Shuffle button - Shuffles playing sequence

20 Mute Button - Mutes audio

21 Launch home page main menu button

22 Volume button - Provides volume control

23 Fast rewind button - Performs a fast rewind

24 Stop button - Stop the action

25 Go to previous button - Moves to previous chapter

  • Moves back through selections
  • Acts as the left mouse button when the remote is in mouse mode

27 Mouse pad or arrows keys - Provides selection control (see Toggle button)

28 Power Light - Indicates power status (on or off)

Connecting the Receiver

Before you use your remote control, you must first connect the USB receiver.

  • Simply plug the remote receiver into any available USB port on your notebook or PC.

Note: When using the remote control, be sure that nothing is blocking the path between the remote control and the USB receiver.

Setting up the remote control

Your infrared remote control requires 2 AAA batteries to operate.
To insert batteries:

1. Remove battery cover on the back of the infrared remote.

2. Insert batteries.

3. Replace the battery cover.

Using the Remote as a Mouse

You can use your remote as a mouse if your computer has a USB plug & play port that supports USB Human Interface Devices (Win 2000, XP, newer Macs, etc.)

Press the Toggle button to enter mouse mode.  Use the following buttons to perform mouse functions:

  • Mouse pad or arrow keys--Moves the pointer
  • Select button--Acts as the right mouse button
  • Back-step button--Acts as the left mouse button
