ONE year of accidental damage protection with express repair,
which covers
- Upgrade of
standard warranty to express repair and accidental damage
protection for three years with coverage for spills, drops, falls,
collisions, electrical surges, damaged LCD screen, or other
accidental damage
• One year parts and labor
• Upgrade to three-business-day repair from current 4–10 days
• Door-to-door product pickup and delivery, freight paid by HP
• 24 x 7 technical assistance with installation, product
configuration, setup, problem solving, and normal operation of
your notebook
• Easy four-step problem resolution with HP-trained service reps
• Maximized uptime and productivity during service period
- Limitations: Theft, fire damage,
intentional damage, and normal wear-and-tear not covered. Major
parts replacement limited to one each: LCD, DVD/CD-ROM,
motherboard, processor, hard disk drive, battery, memory (extent
of damage may affect turnaround time). Available only in the U.S.
HP Care Pack Services must be purchased within a year of HP
product purchase. Hardware must be in original working condition.
Warranty upgrade does not cover preexisting damage.

completed and returned within 25 days of receipt of HP Care Pack.

- Does not cover preexisting damage to applicable hardware
- Available only in the United States
Note:
Extended coverage begins the day you buy your HP
PC. You'll get the most coverage and value if you buy this plan
when you purchase your PC (new or refurbished). For example, if
you buy the 1-year plan 3 months after you bought the laptop,
you'll get coverage for the remaining 9 months of your standard
1-year warranty.
